Blow Dryer Cleaning

!±8± Blow Dryer Cleaning

You should take care of your blow dryer regularly otherwise it could turn into a fire hazard! You don't want that! Now make sure to follow the steps below in order to clean and take care of that blow dryer.

Start by making sure that your blow dryer is unplugged. If your blow dryer is not unplugged while cleaning it, you should not even do it. There is an air-intake on your blow dryer which should be on the back of it; remove it. After you have removed it, lay it on a clean towel. Next, use a toothbrush and some alcohol to loosen up and remove any dirt that is built up on the air vent. Then, you should run the air vent under water to rinse off any of the remaining dirt or dust.

After, using a Q-tip and some alcohol, clean the areas of the blow dryer that you are able to reach and also see. If there are any stray hairs inside the blow dryer that you can see hanging, use a scissors and trim off all that is visible. Lastly, you should then let everything dry completely and then put the pieces back together. Once you have completed all these steps your blow dryer should now be ready for use! No more fire hazards to worry about anymore. Make sure to only clean this when needed, you don't have to clean it every week, just make sure there is no build up of dust or dirt getting in the air-intake.
